BEST Certified Labor Doula and Childbirth Educator

I am so glad you're here--I am Sierra Farr, a BEST trained and Certified Labor Doula and Childbirth Educator. Working with many diverse sets of families is something I greatly enjoy. I specialize in first time birthers, those with complex emotional and mental histories, and those with underrepresented cultural backgrounds.

I also teach group classes as a Parent Educator at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. Evidence based care is a pillar of my work and because of this, I make space for continuing education. I firmly believe there are many right ways to birth a baby and one of my main goals when working with families is to help them create a birth team that is invested in their specific preferences.

Outside of work, I am a self-proclaimed homebody and can almost always be found spending time with my husband, kiddos, our corgi named Moustakas (Moose for short of course!), curled up with a book and a cup of coffee, or working on new home projects.
