Your daytime postpartum doula focuses on caring for you by offering expert guidance, emotional support, rest, nourishing meals, and more, so you’ll feel your best during your 4th Trimester.
Sunrise Postpartum Doula Care
If nighttime is challenging (or even if it's easy!), hit the snooze button and get some much-needed rest. Your Sunrise Postpartum Doula will:
- Stay at your home from 5-10 a.m.
- Skillfully care for your baby and/or older children while you sleep late, shower, and enjoy solitude as long as you'd like
- Serve your favorite breakfast and hold baby while you enjoy your meal
- Clean up after you've had your breakfast

Daytime Postpartum Doula Care
Your daytime Welcome Baby KC Postpartum Doula will pick up right where your birth team left off, providing non-medical continuity of care from your birth space to home, so you’re fully supported as you step into parenthood.
- Expert guidance through your questions, concerns, and experiences
- Ongoing emotional support
- One-on-one lactation support
- Rest for your whole family
- Meal planning
- Your favorite meals and snacks, either prepared fresh or stocked in your fridge/freezer for your ease
- Reassuring care for siblings
- Your most important chores and/or errands completed
- Doula accompany you to your postpartum appointments (OB, midwife, counselor, physical therapist, lactation consultant, pediatrician, support group, etc.)

- In-home visit during pregnancy to discuss your postpartum and newborn care preferences and general expectations
- Unlimited phone and text support 24/7 upon your baby’s arrival
- Extensive resource library (books, articles, videos, baby carriers, etc.) and referral list to meet each family's unique needs
- In-home postpartum visits scheduled for either morning or afternoon, Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m.
